Synopsis

This Joseph Smith reader is written in a storybook fashion for parents and grandparents to read to their children, or as a simply told introduction into the founding history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It contains many well-loved and lesser known stories; thus it is hoped there is something for everyone. As a bonus, this edition contains a re-print of the original booklet “The Joseph Smith Daguerreotype: Was the Prophet Photographed?” which over 25 years ago re-introduced to the world the only photograph of Joseph Smith so certified by his own son Joseph III and wife Emma during their lifetimes. Those interested in a deeper analysis of the Photograph should consider purchasing the Deluxe Edition of this book or the separate "Photograph Found" by the same author. Also, Reed Simonsen’s much requested lectures on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, over 20 years in the making, are now available to a larger audience in the continuing Gospel Feast Series and the Illustrated Series. So you think you know the Gospel? Time to think again. Time to get some meat with your milk. Time to Feast Upon the Word of God!
