About the Author

Kat Crawford, better known as the Lionhearted Kat, is a freelance author published in seventeen anthologies, numerous magazines, and wrote a column for the Plattsmouth Journal for eighteen months titled, “Sunshine and Smiles.” Gary, her husband of almost 51 years, died while she struggled with breast cancer. She understands the journey through grief. Kat is the mother of three, grandmother of six and has one great-grandchild. Born and raised in Oregon, she has lived in Omaha, Nebraska for twenty-three years. She is one of the Leadership Team for Wordsowers Christian Writers in Omaha. Her first book, Capsules of Hope: Survival Guide for Caregivers is available on Amazon. Her lifetime gift is encouragement and her passion is to write.
