There is no shortage of books on English writing, but this book is unique in that it is specifically written for Chinese. Chinese write Chinese English or Chinglish because of the cultural and grammatical interference from their mother tongue. A concise and practical guide, this book provides insights into why Chinese write Chinglish and ways to correct Chinglish. It is a great resource for both ESL teachers of Chinese students and Chinese who study English or any Chinese who wants to improve their English writing. There are plenty of good examples in the book. The coverage of cultural and grammatical interference is pretty extensive. The book will boost your confidence in English writing by helping you write like an American.
