Synopsis

This book is written for managers who are interested in learning more about the extraordinary challenges for delivering customer orders complete and on-time, the common scheduling solutions to those challenges, and how scheduling solutions have evolved over time. It is particularly relevant to managers that are not satisfied with their current cost of delivery performance, and face symptoms identified in key business performance indicators such as late orders, lost sales from long lead times, or high production cost. As we will show in this book the quality of the schedule can have a significant impact on the overall performance of the business. Good scheduling can provide an important competitive advantage for the enterprise. This book explains in non-technical terms, how a new ERP-APS-MES enabler can boost ROI from your business.
