Synopsis

With a collection of encouraging testimonies and prayers, Sherry Higdon explores the power of prayer and tells the story of how one simple prayer for the United States of America has grown into a great ministry in which believers from across the country participate in prayer and fasting for the nation and its president. Sherry shares what God told her the day Mr. Trump made that fateful ride down the escalator to announce he was running for president. She describes how that message from The Lord is what has enabled her to pen and post a new prayer everyday since starting in 2015. Sherry invites readers to open their hearts and minds to the amazing gift of prayer and how they can affect change and contribute to this positive movement of faith. The book's subject matter covers an extremely important and timely topic, especially with the discord that is happening all over the country. The author provides beneficial and valuable solutions for this discord and succeeds in her goal to develop powerful prayers and to offer explanations of the purpose behind these prayers. The author's writing is eloquent and expressive, sharing both her story and her heart for prayer and this nation with the readers through a book that is well-organized and strongly developed. Sherry is married to husband of thirty years, Dean Higdon and contributes her ability to sustain and maintain this ministry to his support and constant encouragement. She remains amazed to this day at how at a moment when writing a book seemed to be an absurd idea God clearly confirmed that this was, in fact, what He wanted her to do! www.TheAmericaProject.us
