Synopsis
Dr. Walter C. Kaiser, Jr., President Emeritus, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary writes a foreword to Memorize Scripture: You Can Do It by relating an astounding result of Bible memorization. Barbara continues by emphasizing the importance of adult memorization and provides a suggested five-year plan of Bible memorization that anyone can follow. By experiencing it herself, she believes we can receive increasing wisdom from God by meditating on memorized passages of Scripture. It has been a life-changing discovery. Barbara Lea Goetz, a Bismarck, North Dakota resident was raised and educated primarily in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has been involved in Christian work for over 45 years. She has written an earlier book, Adventures in Faith & Motherhood, that introduced Bible memorization. Married to her husband, LaRue for over 59 years, together they raised five children and now have 18 grandchildren. Her greatest joy is her family; studying the Bible, the Word of God; and memorizing and meditating upon Scripture.
