Synopsis
Curving Back is the eighth book of poems published by Ruth F. Guillard. The title comes from a Vedic description: “Curving back onto myself, I create again and again”. This latest collection is colored by the passing of Dr. Robert Guillard, the author’s husband of 53 years; the first section is dedicated to him. The rest of the book is filled with her descriptive nature poems, poems of shared human experience, and a group of wry verses on current topics.

About the Author
Ruth Fredericks Guillard, BFA Music, ’52, University of Pennsylvania, is a certified teacher of the Transcendental Meditation technique since 1974. Her poetry was chosen for publication in "Take Heart",a collection of Maine poets. She lives on the Damariscotta River in Boothbay, Maine.
