The Civil War tore them apart… will they ever be brought together again?

As her beloved city of Richmond is transformed into a deadly Civil War battlefield, spirited Carrie Cromwell discovers a way to put her medical skills to work in a Confederate hospital. While she fights to save unknown soldiers, the one she cares about the most is lost to her. Struggling to hold on to hope, she must also deal with a secret she never suspected.

Meanwhile, Rose and Moses find freedom at last - only to be separated by war. Can Moses, now a Union spy, elude those who are searching for him as a runaway slave, and also help those he thought he would never see again? Rose, inspired by a revolutionary young speaker, becomes a teacher in the contraband camps.

Review: Every book I read confirms the brilliance of Ginny’s work. The pictures she paints with her words make you feel part of the scene unfolding in front of you. I have been reading this series since 2015. I have recommended it to many people. Personally, I have it on my kindle and in audible formats. I have read all the books at least once, and in some cases multiple times. I feel like Carrie is family. The research is impressive, and I get a history lesson while I am reading. Just simply an amazing series.

Review: Oh my, each book gets better than the last! I think I am very fortunate to have found this amazing series. This epic story marches on in Spring Will Come as America continues to fight the War Between the States. This series is so much more than romance, even though several story lines involve love stories. I’m thrilled there are so many books waiting for me to read. I hope Ginny never stops writing!

Review: The length Ms. Dye has gone to in her research is extraordinary. She could just be generic in her descriptions, but the details are clearly important to her, and it makes the books come alive. It's what sets her apart as a truly great writer - not someone playing around with a hobby. When you read these books, you're not just getting entertained; you're getting a history lesson.

Review: I love this series! Each book is filled with hope and joy, tears and laughter. The characters come alive so much they have become family. History is depicted and woven into this story so incredibly well. This is a captivating series. I can’t put them down!

Review: I have enjoyed the first 3 books in this saga tremendously. I have no time for a detailed review - I must start on book 4! I recommend these books to anyone who enjoys historical fiction.
