Synopsis
Nita is a medical school misfit whose expectations clash with the dysfunctional U.S. health system. Now, in her final year of school, she struggles to maintain enthusiasm for the career she's always dreamed about. Sleep-deprived and stressed, experiencing sexual harassment and conflicts with the authorities at the school, she just wants to survive long enough to forge her own path.Complicating her life and disrupting her concentration, she finds herself visiting a strange assortment of people from the past. About the Author
Gil Meyer lives and writes in the Potomac Highlands west of Washington, D.C. His mountain home allows him to indulge in his interests in photography, outdoor sports and history. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in plant pathology, both from West Virginia University. He is the author of Corporate Smokejumper and is president of Sparke LLC, specializing in corporate issue and crisis management.
