About the Author

Maria Byrd is a motivational speaker, author, and entrepreneur. She is a passionate intercessor, prolific speaker and a natural encourager to everyone she encounters. She has a passion to reach communities around the globe by spreading the truth and practicality of God's word. In 2007, Maria received her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Francis Marion University in Florence South Carolina. In 2008 she married the love of her life Eric Byrd of Atlanta, Ga. Together they manage their innovative Multi-Media Design company, Embyrd Designs. They also co-own an inspirational, cutting -edge Christian Clothing line named Rockb Clothing. Maria is an ordained minister at The Harvest Tabernacle Church under the covering of Apostle Travis and Pastor Stephanie Jennings. While serving in the areas of worship, deliverance and prophetic intercession, Maria’s mission is to transform the world of media through innovative literature for both the Christian and secular market. In 2017 Maria released her first Publication, “Touch Free: A Curriculum Guide to Maintaining Sexual Abstinence”. In Touch Free, she provides practical tools to assist individuals in how to walk out the process of sexual abstinence. When Maria is not serving in ministry or the marketplace, she sincerely enjoys being a mother and a wife. Writing, singing and spending quality time with her family are just a few things that keep her on her feet. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her wonderful husband, Minister Eric Byrd and their three beautiful children; Autumn, Eric Jr. and Ann Marie.
