About the Author

Author Nadine Helmuth Patton has been using her imagination since she was a little girl. Wanting to communicate biblical truths to her grandchildren, she began to write stories for them. She has a passion for bringing hope to all ages through stories of God’s goodness. Nadine and her husband, Gary, live in Phoenix, Arizona and enjoy gardening and the theater. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren who meet for family dinners and try her dessert experiments. Teaming up with Ashley Burgess, a talented illustrator was a God-send. Both author and illustrator are Kansas natives and bring their ‘farm-girl’ experience to the pages of this story.
