Dr. Robert Ramey served five southeastern U.S. pastorates for 25 years and then was called as Professor of Ministry by Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. Dr. Ramey studied at Hampden-Sydney College, where he received his B.A. and B. S. degrees and was later awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree. He continued his studies at Union Presbyterian Seminary, where he earned B. D., Th.M., and D. Min. degrees. While teaching at Columbia Seminary, Dr. Ramey often conducted weekend retreats for churches around the southeast. Later, Dr. Ramey's time in "retirement" gave him an opportunity to serve another ten churches in various interim relationships.
