Would you like to know how we got from the first century, the time of Jesus and the apostles, to the Middle Ages? A sequel to "Apocalypse and Armageddon"; this work proceeds from the inception period of earliest Christianity described therein and expands upon it. From that point this work continues into the next four to five hundred years of strife and chaos which was mainly perpetrated by the Byzantine tyrants, beginning with Constantine I, whose aim was the destruction of Greco-Roman civilization along with the destruction of any meaningful references to female leadership in the ancient world. It includes chapters devoted to the ancient philosophers who opposed Christianity along with information about the female philosophers of the ancient world and also chapters devoted to the emperors Hadrian and Julian, demonstrating their roles in the overall picture. It also includes details of the savage murder of the philosopher, Hypatia. The brutal takeover by Christian Byzantine forces is fully on display in this work along with mentions of several who faced their wrath, often via some rather fiendish subordinate characters. In the mix it emphasizes the meaning of the deaths of Julian, Hypatia, the very city of Roma and the ancient Greco-Roman civilization altogether. This is real history based on fact, not faith. This history is seldom provided to the folk at large. It is here presented to the folk to educate those who are open to it.

The author grew up in rural America. After graduating from high school he went to college and studied to become a Christian minister, eventually acquiring three different Master's degrees, including an M.Div. However, he came to pursue other paths after sampling and studying practically every form of Christianity in existence along with the history. He also served in the U.S. Army in the chaplain corps, deploying twice into war zones. This work, and his previous work, "Apocalypse and Armageddon", is a culmination of many years of study and reflection. and is meant to inform the reader concerning subject matter seldom provided from other popular sources.
