Thomas Troward (1847 - 1916) was a British author born in Punjab, India to British parents. His works greatly influenced the New Thought Movement, Mind Science, and mystic Christianity. The teachings of Christ, Buddhism, and Islamic and Hindu teachings were all major influences on Troward's writings. Among his many works and lectures, Lectures on Mental Science (1904) is the best known today.
