About the Author

Sarah Stopher completed a Bachelor of Music Education at the University of Western Australia in 2004. Since then, she has worked in a country town in the North West of Australia for three years before relocating to Perth in 2008. The Aural Development Program was developed to provide her students with the opportunity to develop their aural skills at their own pace. The Stage 1 Program was used with a group of Year 10 students in 2010 and proved a great success, particularly with students with little or no aural training.
