Synopsis

In this Civil War time travel novella, Daniel Rodin, a black, retired Brigadier General is thrust into the past via a weather anomaly. He is captured by the Confederates and meets Robert E. Lee. He fears that the items he carries will spur the Confederate general to change his tactics and win at Gettysburg, possibly changing the outcome of the war. He needs to escape and try to get back to where he arrived in the past, hoping to return to the future before history is changed.

About the Author

Larry Deibert is a retired letter carrier. He is the first president of the Lehigh Northampton Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Macungie, Pennsylvania. He is a life member of both the Macungie VFW and Veterans of the Vietnam War. Larry is the author of the following books: The Christmas City Vampire, Combat Boots dainty feet-Finding Love in Vietnam, Fathoms, From Darkness To Light, Family and The Life Of Riley Larry is presently working on several projects including his first illustrated children’s book titled Santa’s Day Jobs. He is working on rewrites for previously published books, 95 Bravo and Requiem For A Vampire. He resides near Hellertown, Pa. with his wife, Peggy.
