About the Author

Jeffrey N. Weiss, M.D., is a retinal specialist practicing in Margate, Florida. He is the former Chief of Retinal Surgery at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Faculty member of Harvard Medical School and Visiting Scientist at M.I.T. Dr. Weiss is the President of Retina Associates of South Florida and is the Principal Investigator of SCOTS. Dr. Steven Levy is the President of MD Stem Cells and is the Study Director of SCOTS.
