Synopsis
During the Great Depression Mitchell Slate did everything he could for his family. One day his ride home takes a dark turn as Mitchell’s train veers off the rails and takes him on a macabre and darkly fantastical journey into his own fragile soul where he must face that life, for the most part, is the product of the decisions you make. For some, a “wrong” decision or two or more leads to a crossroads on the other side of the Destiny Gate – do you fight for a chance to survive and to start anew or succumb to your inner demons and end it all for you, or worse, those you love.
Writer Ryan Cady (Haunt You To The End, Batman) and artist Christian DiBari (Revolvers, Magdalena: Reformation) take you on a mind bending journey into the fabric of reality that will test Mitchell Slate’s beliefs, his devotion to his family and his sanity.

About the Authors
Ryan Cady is a writer of comics and horror fiction based in Brooklyn, New York. He has written for such properties as The X-Files and MAGDALENA, as well as a number of original short stories and creator-owned features. His early reviews of terrible fast food products for the OC Weekly remain his greatest creative triumph.
Christian Dibari is the artist and co-creator of Tales Told in Techni-Horror, Provenance of Madness/Secrets, and many other horror comics. His most recent work with Image Comics/Top Cow is DESTINY GATE.
