About the Author

Vernetta K. Williams, PhD, is a writing coach, editor and speaker; she has a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a M.A. in English from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a PhD in English from the University of South Florida. Vernetta utilizes her experiences as a university educator, administrator and curriculum designer to develop scholarly writing resources for graduate students.
