About the Author

Sharon Geyer lived and worked in Iran and Israel from 1963 to 1989. She returned to the United States in 1989 and earned a bachelor's degree in English from Arizona State University. The author of Daughter of Jerusalem: An American Woman's Journey of Faith (FaithWalk Publishing, 2003), and The Samson Option (FaithWalk Publishing 2004), Geyer is at work on the final book in The Samson Option trilogy, entitled The Return of the Mahdi. She lives in California with her husband, an archaeobotanist and research fellow at the Zinman Institute.
