"Finding FELLINI," written by Charles Ketcham, gives us a new insight into the creative thinking and writing of the great Italian cinema director, Federico Fellini.
The book is an autobiographical account of Ketcham's Kafkaesque visit to Rome, 1973, to interview Fellini.
In the interview, published here for the first time, Fellini cites the influence of the 19th century Italian historian and political philosopher Giambattista Vico for his cinema creations.
The book is enhanced by 23 art photographs by Ketcham who sees around him not the usual cinema locations of Italian films but rather the Rome Fellini loves and portrays.
The book concludes with a warm, personal, hand-written letter from Fellini to Ketcham.
