The Forks Timber Museum was constructed in 1990 by Forks High School carpentry students to preserve and interpret the heritage of the town s logging and milling history. The museum building is a treasure chest of artifacts, interpretive displays, exhibits, photographs, and illustrations that tell the town s story. Many of the images in this book were selected from the Forks Timber Museum s collection of historical photographs.
