From a young age, Ayla has known her gift. Dedicated to become a Guardian of Childfey, she has spent her young years in the Temple, studying magic and ancient rites. There, she also learns about the mortal enemy of all Fey of the Light: the Reviled.
Gairynzvl is a Fey of the Light, abducted by the Reviled when he was young. Now, he is a Dark One; lurking in the shadows, lingering near Ayla.
After Gairynzvl commits treason against his own kind, Ayla listens to him when no others will - and the conflict that unfolds will change their world.

Cynthia A. Morgan is the author of the trending blog booknvolume.com, a prolific writer of poetry, a lover of English sonnets, a word aficionado and grammar-geek, and is the creator of the mythical realm of Jyndari. She has been writing since she was old enough to form sentences and in her freelance career has written poetry, short-stories, and newsletters for various blogs, numerous websites, and corporations including American Greetings, FYE, and Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Cynthia has written novels (awaiting publications) ranging from children’s stories, to Regency period drama and modern romances, to Sci-Fi and post-apocalyptic adventures, but her current publication “Dark Fey: The Reviled” draws the reader into a mystical realm of primordial forests, magic and the lives of Light-loving and Darkness-revering Feykind. Not to be confused with pixies or “Tinkerbell” type fairies, Cynthia’s feyfolk are winged beings the size of any human who live in a realm where tradition, magic, and spirituality are fundamentals of everyday life. Some of her other interests include a deep love of animals and the environment, which led her to become a Guardian with the ASPCA since 2008. She enjoys cooking and music; loves laughter; finds the mysteries of ancient times, the paranormal and the possibilities of life elsewhere in the cosmos intriguing, and believes in the power of Love, Hope, Peace and Joy, all of which is reflected in her lyrically elegant writing style. Cynthia is currently penning “Dark Fey: Standing in Shadows”, book two of the eagerly anticipated Dark Fey Trilogy.
