About the Author

I was born in Russell, KS. I graduated from Laramie High School in Laramie, WY. Attending the University of Wyoming I received two bachelor degrees, one in Physical Education and one in Elementary Education. My first job was 4 years in Chugwater, WY followed by 18 years in Dallas, TX. While teaching a year in New Mexico I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2002. I had to leave teaching. After a few years I decided to follow my dream of writing a book, which I did. The First Step is my first step at writing. It has a sequel named Night Spirit. It has the same two characters as The First Step.
