Fter noting briefly the cost of the various plants of the Com pany on the mainland and the distri bution lines, Dr. Shortt mentions that the gross earnings tron. Ight and power in the Vancouver district. In 1916 amounted to $1, of which was from lighting. Including street lighting, and $308, 230 from commercial power. He then goes on to discuss rates. He savs.
