Much more careful observation is necessary, as well as clinical and laboratory research, before the subjects and theories presented can be ac cepted as fully decided. But the present study may, perhaps, serve as a stimulus to others, and as a basis upon which abler hands may build more certain and definite material, until we know more perfectly the true nature of the mysterious menstrual cycle, and its effects upon the various portions of the body, ia cluding the skin.
