Excerpt from Canadian Motor, Tractor and Implement Trade Journal, Vol. 1: March, 1919
Fuel is a much discussed question that plays a very big part in this show. On the one hand there are the tractors designed to successfully operate on kerosene and on the other side the ones for which gasoline is the only fuel recommended. There is, of course, no ques tion but that kerosene, or coal oil, is much more economical to buy, and many makers of tractors de signed to Operate on this fuel show positive statistics that prove greater efficiency in consumption per acre over gasoline.
