About the Author

Ann-Marie Powell is a multi-award-winning garden designer, television presenter, journalist and author, who divides her time between designing innovative gardens for private clients, companies and charities, and enthusing people about gardening through her books, television appearances and articles in national newspapers and magazines. During Covid-19 lockdown 2020 she revealed her own garden on Instagram, confessing it was a far cry from a ‘show garden’. Her Instagram Lives continued without fail for 100 days as she transformed her Hampshire plot. In so doing she created a unique community who together have contributed to create content for My Real Garden the book.
