About the Author

Joy Givens holds a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Education degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Joy is also the founder of the Pittsburgh-based company Givens Academic and Preparatory Tutoring. Andrew Cole holds a B.A. in History from Hamilton College and a M.A. in Religious Studies from Duke University. He's taught classes in religious history and world religions, and he enjoys talking about history and helping students become better writers.
