About the Author

Alan E. Nelson, Ed.D. has a doctorate in leadership from the University of San Diego. He is a prolific author in the area of leadership and considered a global expert in young leader development. Dr. Nelson teaches leadership and organizational behavior in institutions such as Pepperdine University and the Naval Postgraduate School. He is the author of 20 books and over 200 articles and is the founder of KidLead Inc. He and his wife, Nancy, have been married over 35 years and live near Los Angeles, CA.
