Synopsis

This is an original and funny story written in English and Spanish that will make children laugh hard due to the constant attempts of the forest animals to help Margot offering her delicious food, but the little frog will spat it out every time until… ,in the most unexpected way, she will recover her lost joy. This book provides the gaining and memorization of new vocabulary about food, animals, tastes, etc. in a significant way, thanks to the rhymes and repetition patterns. Besides the didactic content "Margot The Frog" promotes values such as friendship, amusement, solidarity, etc. ; defends the enjoyment of sharing experiences with our beloved ones against the superficial enjoyment of objects acquisition; and finally it highlights the importance of the acquisition of affective capacities and the development of children autonomy. Sometimes we feel dull and we think the solution to that is to have things, to be given lot of things. At the beginning it feels right, but soon after we realize that even though we have all those things we still feel bad. But suddenly one day we become aware that what really makes us happy is something very simple and it was in front of us all the time. That’s the story of Margot, who thanks to the inhabitants of the forest finally found out what she really was hungry for.

About this title

About the Author

I am a writer and a small children teacher (from 0 to 6) and from my experience as a teacher and recently as a mother :-) I can tell that nothing compares to a child laughter, that's why in my opinion, children should learn always with a smile on their face. And that's what I want to achieve with my children books: Joy, fun, and the natural acquisition of knowledge and values without realizing it.
