CHRISTOPHER J. ROE — PAINTER/POET — BIOGRAPHY I have been painting for over forty years and writing seriously for five years. After a forty-four year career in advertising as an award winning art director and graphic designer, I retired to Warren, Rhode Island to pursue my art and writing full time. I have written thirty-nine volumes of poetry as well as my memoir, Dead Rainbows, and a novel, Death of a Poet. My poems have appeared in; PoetryMagazine.com, Vox Poetica, The Monarch Review, The Forge Journal, Apollo's Lyre, Black Heart Magazine and Your Daily Poem among others. I run a monthly poetry workshop at the Hail library in Warren. I was a Pushcart Prize nominee and am currently working on my thirty-third book of poetry. I am just beginning series of 25 artworks containing 25 of my poems uniting painting and poetry into a singular expression. All while simultaneously working on my thirty-third volume of poetry. My paintings are in private collections in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Europe. I live in both Warren, Rhode Island and the moment.
