Synopsis

In this book I share many stories I and others have experienced or witnessed that show examples ridiculous rudeness. My goal is to:

-Do my part in creating awareness with the importance this issue deserves. -Share this with those who are being rude so that they know that what they are doing is not acceptable and will not be tolerated without some consequence. -Share this with those who are dealing with rude people so that they know they’re not alone in their frustration. I am certain that anyone reading this can relate all too well to the annoyances and discomfort of being around rude people in these public spaces, meant to be shared in harmony. Rude people tend to think they are the only ones who matter in shared public spaces, or worse, simply not care, and treat them as if they are not really shareable and meant to be used just by them. They use these spaces as their private bedrooms, living rooms and gulp, even bathrooms. In this book there are examples of behaviors I have personally observed, have had shared by eyewitnesses and found in the news or social media. Anyone is capable of being rude, obnoxious and doing what I call “Oh No” behaviors. When I describe, race, age, gender or any other descriptive detail, it is simply what I have actually observed and not a stereotype or generalization of that identifying characteristic. These are my observations both from a personal perspective and from a trained observer’s experience. My goal is that the message goes through to some people that are unaware of how their behavior can add stress to a situation ranging from simple disharmony to potentially violent incidents. Why not just use common sense and courtesy to make an already stressful commute into one that is as easy as possible? This is also for those who are complacent with the status quo. You have free will, use it. I realize there will be those who have not experienced any negative moments or believe you can choose other ways of transportation. There are also those will disagree, (because that’s what they do) and not see the point of using common sense manners on the train or anywhere else. For those, this book and my work clearly isn’t for you. This is for those individuals who do understand that organizations and humans still have a lot to learn about creating a harmonious society. A harmonious society equals less annoyance, anger, and especially violence. Want to know more? Get the book and click "buy" now for your next stop to healing. And kindly leave a review.
