The darkly comic story blends detailed point of view storytelling with elements of metaphysics, science fiction, religious mysticism, metaphilosophy, social commentary on materialism, the triumph of individuality over collectivism, Native American mythoi, Ufology, marine mammology, Florida Keys hi-jinks, mayhem, self-salvation, and an earnest desire to save the world.
