Synopsis
It's 1966 and Robin Hobber is a Midwestern teenager in love with music and life when his father, a prominent physician, is murdered in an apparent home invasion. A man seen running from the scene is captured and convicted, all the while proclaiming his innocence. Soon after, Robin's brothers go missing and are never found. Could the events have been related? Bound by tragedy, Robin makes his way through life trying his best to care for his mother and realize his dream of opening his own record store. Now, some forty years later, vinyl is dying and Robin is faced with closing his store. One day, while going through a box of his father's effects, he discovers proof his father once owned what is now the most valuable Beatles record in the world. But the LP is nowhere to be found! He soon learns not only his father's convicted killer has been out of prison for some time, but the man, Ozzie Born, has became one of the preeminent record collectors in the world -- and he possesses a Beatles record exactly like the one his father had. Join Robin as he sets out to confront Ozzie and discover what really happened to his father and brothers. With the help of a retired FBI agent and modern CSI forensics, a long-lost Beatles record reveals clues leading to shocking revelations, helping solve mysteries surrounding Robin’s family, allowing him to finally find love, peace and happiness, in an epic adventure spanning yesterday events from the turbulent 1960s into issues of today.

About the Author
Rob resides in Lawrence, Kansas, where he attends Kansas University, studying Art History, finally living the hard-earned life of a scholar while working on his next project, a biography about the mid-twentieth century Kansas City, Kansas Modernist painter, Paul Emerson.
