About the Author

Eric J. Page was born and raised in Ashburnham, Massachusetts. He completed his undergraduate education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA, with bachelor's degrees in both Physics and Music. He then earned masters and doctoral degrees in Physics from the University of Rochester in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Following graduate work, Dr. Page spent one year at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA as a Visiting Assistant Professor before taking a tenure-track position at the University of San Diego. Dr. Page is currently the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Associate Professor of Physics at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. In his spare time, Dr. Page enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching volleyball (Go Bears!) as well as reading and writing. The material presented in his books represent Dr. Page's own views and not those of the Coast Guard Academy, the United States Coast Guard, the Department of Homeland Security or the U.S. Government.
