Marcus D. King has spent the last 20-plus years of his life helping individuals discover their God-given purpose. After earning degrees in English/Christian Ministry and Christian Education while attending Sam Houston State University, Dallas Baptist University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, King spent time as an 8th grade English teacher. He also has served on the board of directors for several organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, and has over twenty years of experience in leadership and management. He spent over ten years serving in church ministries and on the church staffs of well-established ministries in Dallas. He is the founder and lead pastor of Disciple Central Community Church, a ministry that was birthed in 2008 with only seven members. Since that time, DC3 has become a name in the community because of its outreach efforts in Dallas County, as well as in other regions such as The Gambia, West Africa, Haiti, and Jamaica.
