About the Author

Academically Sociologist and Environmental sociologist by training, Dr. Slariya completed his Post-doc from University of Turku as a fellow of Academy of Finland. He is serving as Associate Professor of Sociology in Govt. PG College, Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India. Dr. Slariya is working on development, environment and climate change issues for more than a decade and has been Indian delegate in many international conferences, delegations etc.
