An inspirational speaker, Nigel Linacre enables individuals and teams to be more effective. Nigel is co-founder of Extraordinary Leadership which works with senior executives and teams in business. He is also co-founder of LeadNow which provides leadership development for students in British universities. He is the author of many business and philosophical titles. Day-to-day he causes individuals to become more aware of who they are and can be, and enables team members form more authentic relationships with one another and the team as a whole, building trust, coherence and performance. Clients include eBay, Honeywell and the United Nations. Nigel contributes to the work of International Leadership Association and the Centre for Leadership Studies. Nigel worked in marketing and training before developing as a facilitator and coach. In his career he worked at top ten advertising agencies Boase Massimi Pollitt (“BMP”) and Collet Dickenson Pearce (“CDP”) and wrote Advertising for Account Handlers. He has worked on Department for International Development (DfID-UKAID) and World Bank funded projects in India, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria, South Africa and Tanzania. He’s worked for Plan International in Senegal and Panama. He created the Extraordinary Leadership Journey which takes western executives to Kenyan schools. He is co-founder and trustee of WellBoring which provides water solutions to school-based communities in East Africa. He has developed a familiarity with the big philosophical ideas and spiritual traditions, and sometimes practices stillness. He is a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and is familiar with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and various coaching methodologies.
