John lives with his wife Candis and furry companions, in the beautiful village of Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico. As well as books of poetry for young audiences, he writes books that explore relationships, spirituality, creativity and his romance with life. Writing for over 50 years, in the past decade he has published 9 books of poetry, exquisitely illustrated by his wife Candis Flesher Dodds.
