About the Author

The author was born in Oklahoma near the end of WWII and graduated from Oregon State University as a chemical engineer. He has lived in Alaska, the Northwest, Southern California, the northeast on the Canadian border, and now in the southeast of the United States. He has found each area to have its own subculture and general thinking patterns and uses the experiences gained throughout his life, his understanding of the Bible, science, plus a bit of humor to write this book. The book is written for, and dedicated to, his eleven grandchildren for the purpose of telling them what he has learned and encouraging them to evaluate and to think for themselves.
