About the Author

As a West African from Ghana, presently residing in United States, I had a personal and strong conviction to read something more practical and different pertaining to African chronic challenges and longlasting crises, particularly those of the majority of the people in West Africa. Unfortunately, I was unable to find anything that addressed these issues critically and thoughtfully. The more I searched, the more passionate I became to research and write something never written before and to communicate a vision never expressed before. During this time, I came to realize, like many African researchers, that West Africa is in desperate need for drastic transformation. I describe this transformation as the West Africa second peaceful revolutionary transformation, which would lead the West African region to set its sight on a new transformed world by engineering one of the genuinely formidable economic powerhouses and sustainable advanced modern societies in the world. This heartfelt adventure was also inspired by the American writer Toni Morrison, as she once wrote, “If there is a book you really want to read, but it has not been written yet, you must be the one to write it.” As an inspirational message, I took the challenge to envision something completely different and embarked on this wholeheartedly adventurous mission of writing this book. The people of West Africa must empower ahead! God empower West Africa!
