Being creative is a lot simpler than you think—though blocked artists might beg to differ. Creativity flows from your true self; it does not need to be drummed up, nor does it belong only to a chosen few. If you want to create, you already have what you need to do so.
In her seventh book on creativity, painter and teacher Michele Cassou presents a groundbreaking explanation of intuition that will revolutionize your creative journey in work and in life. Introducing you to a new path that leads to the true meaning and purpose of creativity, she shares key principles and eye-opening insights that free you to explore. As you learn how to navigate the possible blocks, you will also discover the potential healing that can come from embracing the process.
Answering the Call of Creativity is for artists of all types, but it’s also for adventure seekers and anyone thirsting to revitalize their lives. Don’t miss the chance to experience the thrilling passion and playful enjoyment of creating unhindered.

Michele Cassou is a passionate artist and teacher who founded an original method of creative painting. Born and raised in the South of France, she moved to Paris as a young adult to study law, literature, and art, but it was watching the unhindered process of children painting that inspired her to discover how she, too, could express herself spontaneously and without the need for conventional training. From this “just painting for herself,” she formed her unique, internationally acclaimed approach to freeing one’s creative potential and exploring the spiritual dimensions of the creative process.
A prolific painter and author, Cassou has also taught thousands of students over the past four decades and currently conducts workshops at the Esalen Institute in the San Francisco area and at the Mabel Dodge Luhan House in Taos, New Mexico. With the people she taught, she has formed a nonprofit organization called the Cassou Institute for Creative Freedom.
