Abigail Shaw’s ancestor sailed with Sir Francis Drake and left a legacy of four clues, one for each of his four sons, when he died. It was rumoured that when put together they would indicate the whereabouts of some of Drake’s buried treasure. However, two of the sons left home in a bitter dispute over a girl and were never seen again. Abby enlists the services of Nick Hunter, a private investigator, to try and track down her missing relatives and the other clues. The story touches on events that happened to the ancestors of the missing relatives, both at the time of the Spanish Armada and during World War Two. Unfortunately someone else is also interested in the treasure, and he doesn’t care what he has to do, or who he has to hurt, in order to find it. This is a tale of action, adventure, and romance, both on land and on the high seas, as they compete with the bad guys to get to the treasure first.
