Patrick Roche is an award-winning poet and graduate of Princeton University’s Class of 2014. He competed on Princeton’s 2014 team at the national collegiate poetry slam, where they placed third out of over 60 teams nation-wide. Patrick received an award for Best Persona Poem of the competition. He has featured in a showcase at the National Poetry Slam and placed as a finalist at the 11th annual ILL LIST national invitational. Patrick’s work has been featured on Button Poetry, Upworthy, Buzzfeed, the Huffington Post, MSN, and various other outlets, earning him over 5 and a half million views. His work explores issues of mental health, substance abuse, family, death, love, body image, and memory.
