About the Author

I grew up in a small town with 3 brothers, raised pretty much by our mother alone. We had struggles as any family does, I had a dark secret that was not revealed until many years later, and that was probably one of the toughest days of my life sitting there with my family, tears falling. As I grew to become a adult, I never had a boyfriend, and was easily drawn into a man who gave me attention and made me smile and laugh. Never did I dream 15 years of my life would lead to some of the worst memories I would ever experience. When that ended it took me years to regroup but I soon learned to live and love myself again. I took to creating a Facebook page, Believe to Achieve where I journal my life and encourage others to better themselves along the way. I am a VOICE. If I help just one person not go through the childhood sexual abuse or adult dysfunctional life that I encountered then I will be complete. Please share my story and let's get some more survivors to share their story as well.
