When a local news anchor and mother of three Trisha Shepherd (now Lawless) found her dream job had turned into a nightmare that clashed with her family life, she began to write about her experiences every day for a year. That diary, she says, is like "a video camera left rolling during a tornado." This raw yet humor-filled account of how one woman broke free from burnout and toxic turmoil will speak to anyone who has ever asked the question: am I ready to make a bold leap into a more sane, balanced and happy life?
