Synopsis

"See What Limber Line Does!", Reverse Print Version helps children learn to see letters, numbers, and symbols quickly, especially if a child practices tracing with fingers and/or pencil. If followed up with "See What Limber Line Does!", Regular Print Version, it's double fun and skill practice. Children like to use their fingers to trace because fingers and minds are made to go together. We hope you will like our friend, Limber Line, too!

About the Author

Kathleen Sullivan O'Connor worked with Head Start's Mental Health division and uses her experience, training, and knowledge to build a story series appropriate for our youngest learners. This book and series is also helpful with remedial and special education students. The illustrations are based on Euclidean geometry and lay a solid foundation for math. Illustrator Wingfield McGowan has taught at the preschool, elementary, and college levels for many years. She was trained in secondary education, but she gained interest in early learning while teaching her daughter and working as a tutor. Voice and guitar training helped develop her talents for rhyming and rhythm, both of which engage children and add to their interest and enjoyment of Kathleen's material. Faye Knight, a reading specialist, always had her first grade classes reading by Christmas! Patricia Lovisek is an early childhood learning- through-conversation specialist who engages young children emotionally while challenging them to think at "the next level". Ecology, patterns, algebra, city planning - nothing was too complex for her budding genius preschoolers!
