About the Author

Toni Ortner has taught for more than forty years in high schools and colleges in the New York metropolitan area. Her unique instructional methods and techniques have proven remarkably effective in improving the writing skills of multi-cultural students. She teaches in the English Department at the University of Connecticut in Stamford as well as Norwalk Community College.
