About the Author

Gloria P. Humphrey, a South Florida native, is the author of "Patrice Grows A. Garden," illustrated by her son, Michael Humphrey Jr., and a memoir entitled "I Come." In this hardhat project, she is on the construction site building character along with Hammer Mc as the director. With a combined effort through poetry and illustrations to give it its finishing edge, they hammer down life-lasting virtues.
